Remove ten screws (1), lock washers (2) and flat
washers (3). Remove front engine mount (4), rear
engine mount (5) and exhaust mount (6).

Remove engine ground cable (7).

Remove screw (

) and belt guard (9).

Remove two screws (11), lock washers (12), flat
washers (13) and exhaust bracket (10).

Remove screw (14), flat washer (15), clamp (16) and
nut (17)

Remove three screws (30), lock washers (31) and flat
washers (32). Remove side mount assembly.

Remove screw (1

), lock washer (19) and flat washer
(20).

Remove two screws (22), lock washers (23), flat
washer (24), side mount (21) and engine mount (25).
9.
Remove two screws (26), flat washer (27), nut (29)
and filter bracket (29) from engine mount (33).
10. Remove three screws (35), lock washers (36) and flat
washers (37).
11. Remove screw (41), flat washers (42), lock washer
(43) and nut (44).
12. Remove two screws (3

), lock washers (39), flat
washers (40) and bell housing (41).
13. Remove three screws (45), lock washers (46) and
coupler (47).
14. Remove engine temperature sender (4
8
).
15. Remove screw (49), screw (50) and throttle bracket
(51).
16. Inspect all parts for wear or damage.
Assembly Notes
• Assemble the engine by reversing the order of
disassembly.
• Apply Teflon tape to the threads of the engine
temperature sensor (48) before installing.
• Apply Loctite B275 to throttle bracket screws (49 and
50), coupler screws (45), bell housing screws (35 and
38), exhaust bracket screws (11), belt guard screw
(8) and engine mount screws (1).
• Apply Shell Alvania grease to spline portion of
coupler (47).
• Tighten coupler bolts (45) to 40 lb-ft (54 N·m).
• Tighten M10 bell housing screws (38) to 40 lb-ft (54
N·m).
• Tighten M8 bell housing screws (35) to 20 lb-ft (27
N·m).

A separate engine manual, prepared by the engine
manufacturer, is supplied with this machine. Refer to
engine manufacturer’s manual for all engine-related
service.
Proper attention to engine manufacturer’s manual
directions will ensure maximum service life of engine.
