4. Now the wire rope is mounted with the compressed side.
To do this, first hook the oval carabiner into the ring nut and
then hook the wire rope. Make sure that the carabiner is
properly locked!
8.2 Mounting the intermediate rope bracket on the ladder
The max. distance between the different brackets must not exceed 10 m! If the ladder has an overhang (to the rear
or side) of 5° or more from the vertical, the distance between the brackets must not exceed 3 m!
1. Measure and mark the centre of the ladder rung.
The intermediate rope bracket is held against the
marking and the U-bolt is then passed through
the holes in the bracket from behind. The U-bolt
encloses the ladder rung. Then put on the washers
and screw on the M8 stop nuts (use lubricant!).
Tighten all stop nuts firmly.
Guide the wire rope through the intermediate rope
bracket.
8.3 Mounting the lower ladder attachment:
1. Mount the bracket on the flat bar with hexagon bolt and
stop nut in the hole. Bring the hexagon nut from the front
through the hole in the bracket and tighten it at the back
with the stop nut. Ensure that the bracket is straight!
2. Now measure the centre of the ladder and mark it on the
lowest 2 rungs. Hold the flat bar to the markings and mount it
with 2 clamping plates with the 4 U-bolts. To do this, hold the
plates in front of the flat bar and the ladder rungs, and pass
2 threaded shackles each through the holes in the clamping
plates from behind. The U-bolts enclose the ladder rungs in
the process. Then put on the washers and screw on the M8
stop nuts (use lubricant!). Tighten all stop nuts firmly.
