USB mode
Your new CD receiver can read USB storage devices with
USB 1.0 and 2.0 specifi cations and capacities up to 32
GB. It can also play music fi les saved on it in MP3 and
WMA formats.
Important
Do not use any storage devices that exhibit
mechanical
damages
or have fallen in a liquid.
Do not subject the storage devices to direct
sunlight
.

music on your PC.
Inserting and playing a USB stick
• Select “USB” as the source (see page 11).
The message “READ USB” will appear in the display
panel.
• Insert the USB stick in the port

“USB”. The plug
only fi ts the port in one position.
• If there are music fi les on the stick, playback will begin
automatically.
• If there are no fi les for playback on the USB stick, the
display panel will stay dark.
The playback functions for CD and USB are identical
and are described in the section “Playback functions” on
page 16.
Removing a USB stick

Never remove the USB storage device while the
CD receiver is still accessing it, that is, during
playback or when paused! Before, stop playback with
the button
