Remote control
A 3-volt button cell, type CR2025 is used to power the
remote control.
This battery is already located in the remote control upon
delivery and is insulated with a plastic strip. This plastic
strip is visible on the back side of the remote control. Just
pull it out carefully. The remote control is now ready for
use.
Changing the batteries
• Hold the remote control with the bottom facing up.
• Remove the screw with a Phillips screwdriver.
• Pull the battery compartment out of the remote control.
• Take out the old battery (please follow the notes on
page 19).
• Insert the new battery in the bracket, the symbol “+”
must be visible on the battery and the bracket in the
process.
• Put the bracket back into the unit and push the com-
partment until it locks into place.
• Tighten the Phillips screw to secure.
Functionality
The remote control relays the control signals by means of
infrared light. For this, the remote control must be pointed
towards the device. Make sure that the infrared light is
not obstructed by objects.
Fluorescent lamps and energy saving lamps installed in
the direct vicinity may affect the functions of the remote
control or even impair them.
