5.6 Irregular Heartbeat Detection
This instrument is a clinically tested oscillometric device for blood pressure
monitoring which also analyzes the pulse rate during the same measurement.
This symbol indicates that certain pulse irregularities were detected
during the measurement (Arrhythmia).
In this case, the result may deviate from your normal basal blood
pressureand it is advisable to repeat the measurement.
Inform your doctor on frequent appearance of the irregular heartbeat symbol.
If pulse irregularities occur more frequently (eg several times a week on
measurements taken daily) or if it suddenly appears more often than usual, the
patient is advised to consult a physician. The appliance is not a substitute for a
cardiac exam, but serves to detect heartbeat irregularities at an early stage.
NOTE: If the blood pressure monitor suddendly switches off during
measurement, it is because the batteries are not charged enough and while
the pump is working, their voltage becomes insufficient. In this case,
replace the batteries or use external USB power.
5.7 Stop a measurement
If you need to stop a blood pressure measurement for any reason (eg the patient
is feeling unwell), simply press the
START/STOP button at any time. The device
then immediately and automatically discharges the cuff pressure and turns off.
5.8 Error messages
The following symbols will appear on the display when measuring anomalies.

Check if the pump is running or
not. If it works, switch off and try
again, if the problem persists

correctly. If so, position the tube
and cuff correctly and start the
measurement again. If not,

mmHg) If it happens occasionally, repeat
the measurement. If always
happens, contact the customer
service.
Er 4
Too loose cuff or air
leakage
(Cannot inflate to
30mmHg within 15s)
Check that the cuff is worn
correctly, that the tube is properly
connected to the device, and try
again; if the problem persists,
contact the customer service.
Er 5
The air tube is pinched
