4. APPLIANCE FIRST TIME USE
4.1 Battery
4.1.1 Battery installation: Use only 1.5V
“AAA” alkaline batteries with this device.
1. Press and slide backward the as
shown in beside image.
2. Lift the cover
3. Install 4 “AAA” size batteries so the +
(positive) and (negative) polarities match
the polarities of the battery compartment,
4. Position the battery cover making sure
that the battery cover is in correct
position, then close it completely in
position.
4.1.2 Battery replacement
1.When the Low Battery Indicator (8) appears on the display, turn the
appliance off and remove all the batteries. Replace with 4 new batteries at the
same time.
Long-life alkaline batteries are recommended.
When the batteries are low, there are two conditions:
1- the symbol (8) is shown immediately when the instrument is switched on; no
further measurements can be made and the batteries must be replaced.
2- if the appliance switches off suddenly during the measurement; the
batteries are not charged enough and their voltage becomes
insufficient; replace batteries or use external USB power.
2.To prevent the damage of monitor from leaked battery fluid, please take out of
battery if the monitor unused in a long time (generally more than 3 months). If
battery fluid should get in your eyes, immediately rinse with plenty of clean water.
Contact a physician immediately.
