Service and Repair Manual

Repair Procedures

Part No. 1263382

SX-135 XC

11 Press the

plus

button to select YES, then

press the

enter

button to accept.

12 Start the engine and use the platform level up

button to fully extend the jib level cylinder. The

digital level should read approximately 0.0°.

13 The LCD screen should read JIB

BELLCRANK FULLY EXTENDED. Press the

plus

button to select YES, then press the

enter button to accet.

14 Press the alt zero

button on the digital level so

that it reads 0.0°.

15 Fully raise the jib boom using the jib up button

until it stops. Then using the platform level

down button, retract the jib level cylinder until

the digital level reads most nearly -75°.

16 The LCD screen should read JIB BC LEVEL

ANGLE TO GRAVITY -75.0°. Press the

plus

button or

minus

button to adjust the display to

the angle shown o the digital level, then press

the

enter

button to accept.

Note: If the engine is started to adjust the jib

bellcrank, press and hold the engine start button

for five seconds.
Note: If the system exits out of calibration mode

when the engine is started, repeat step 9 and

continue to step 15.
17 Press and hold the engine start button for

approximately 5 seconds to shut off the

engine and to save the calibration settings.

Note: Do not turn the engine off with the key switch

or red Emergency Stop button or all calibration

points or values will not be saved.
18 Press the

enter

button on the

LCD screen until EXIT is displayed.

19 Press the

plus

button to select YES, then

press the

enter

button to accept.

20 Turn the key back to the run position and

remove the key from the bypass/recovery key

switch. Insert the key into the main key switch

and turn it to ground controls.

21 Wait approximately 20 seconds and turn the

machine off by pressing the red Emergency

Stop button in.

22 Remove the fastener that was temporarily

installed. Close the control box door and

install the door retaining fasteners.

Note: When the control box door is closed, the

calibration toggle switch is automatically activated

to exit out of calibration mode.
23 Use the key to turn the bypass / recovery key

switch to the run position.

Note: Be sure that the bypass/recovery key switch

is in the run position before attempting to operate

the machine.
24 Pull out the red Emergency Stop button. Start

the engine and lower the boom to the stowed

position. Be sure there are no calibration

faults shown on the display.

25 Remove the digital level from jib bellcrank.
