Platform

How to Remove the Platform

1 Separate the foot switch quick disconnect

plug.

2 Support the platform with an appropriate lifting

device.

3 Locate the cables that connect to the bottom

of the control box. Number each cable and its

location at the platform control box.

4 Disconnect the cables from the bottom of the

platform control box.

5 Remove the platform control box mounting

fasteners. Remove the platform control box

and set it aside.

6 Remove the air line to platform bracket

retaining fasteners (if equipped).

7 Remove the power to platform cover plate

from the electrical outlet box. Do not

disconnect the wiring.

Electrocution/burn hazard.

Contact with electrically charged

circuits could result in death or

serious injury. Remove all rings,

watches and other jewelry.

8 Remove the power to platform electrical outlet

box from the platform and lay it to the side.

9 Remove the weld cable from the platform (if

equipped).

Electrocution/burn hazard.

Contact with electrically charged

circuits could result in death or

serious injury. Remove all rings,

watches and other jewelry.

10 Support the platform mounting weldment, but

do not apply any lifting pressure.

11 Remove the eight mounting bolts from the

platform mounting weldment.

12 Remove the center bolt and slide the platform

mounting weldment off of the platform rotator.

Crushing hazard. The platform

mounting weldment may

become unbalanced and fall if it

is not properly supported.
