4.4.
While driving
While driving, the driver must check the following functions of the vehicle and engine
regularly to prevent damage:
Information Display (see section 3.7)
» Check the
symbol on the main screen of the information display for the current fuel
tank
-
There should always be a sufficient amount of diesel in the tank
-
At a tank level of ± 18 liters, an automatic warning is given (see section 3.7)
-
At a tank level of ± 4 liters, an alarm is given (see section 3.7)

symbol on the main screen of the information display for the current
engine temperature

At an engine temperature of 103 °C, an automatic warning is given (see section 3.7).
Avoid any further increase in temperature to prevent damage to the engine.

At an engine temperature of 107 °C, an alarm is given (see section 3.7).
Immediately park the vehicle in a safe place and switch off the diesel engine.

hydraulic fluid temperature

At a hydraulic fluid temperature of 95 °C, an automatic warning is given (see section 3.7).
Avoid any further increase in temperature to prevent damage to the system.

At a hydraulic fluid temperature of 103 °C, an alarm is given (see section 3.7).
Immediately park the vehicle in a safe place and switch off the diesel engine.
Ensure when large distances have to be covered that the water tank is filled to
at least 30% (± 250 L) in connection with the cooling of the hydraulic fluid

4.5.
Switching off the vehicle
The hand brake must always be engaged when the vehicle is switched off.
Otherwise the vehicle could start moving of its own accord, particularly if it is
parked on a gradient.
1)
Bring the vehicle to a halt:
-
First release the accelerator pedal: the vehicle will brake on the engine.
-
Then push in the brake pedal: the vehicle comes to a complete standstill.
2)
Deactivate all engaged functions.
3)
Put the forward / reverse selector in neutral (N).
4)
Engage the hand brake (fig. 7, no. 7).
5)
Turn the ignition key fully counter-clockwise and remove it from the lock.
