TOWING THE SWEEPER VEHICLE
If it is necessary to tow the vehicle, the hydraulic system on the rear axle and the hand brake
must be deactivated.
Is there a diesel engine failure? Then first follow the "Using the manual
hydraulic pump" procedure in chapter 7.
A) Deactivate the hydraulic system on the rear axle (fig. 28)
In the middle below the dirt hopper, between the two water tanks and just above the hydraulic
pumps a ball valve has been installed. Turn the ball valve to the tow position.

B) Disengage the hand brake
See chapter 7 "Using the hydraulic manual pump", section "Disengaging the hand brake".
The vehicle is now ready for towing.
The power steering is deactivated during towing. Nevertheless, the vehicle can
be steered. The steering wheel offers more resistance, but it will not damage the
vehicle.
•
The towing speed must be limited to max. 15 km/h.
•
Actions A) and B) must first be undone before the vehicle can be driven
again.
