Malfunctions overview
When the A60 is not functioning as expected, it is important to determine the cause. The
malfunctions table below can be a guideline for the systematic and effective localization and
repair of malfunctions. Malfunctions must always be reported to a technician.
Any guarantee becomes void:
•
in the event of repairs carried out inexpertly / repairs carried out by unauthorized persons,
and
•
if no use is made of extra parts, prescribed lubricants and original components from or
manufactured by Tennant N.V.
Contact Tennant N.V. if this is indicated in the table or if the cause of the
malfunction cannot be established and/or repaired.

Sweeper does not
function at all
•
Main current switch is off.
•
Emergency stop(s) switched on.
•
Battery empty or battery clamps
disconnected.
•
Activate main current switch.
•
Check emergency stop(s) and deactivate if
necessary.
•
Check battery and/or clamps.
Sweeper does not start
•
Hand brake not engaged.
•
Forward/reverse selector not in
neutral position.
•
Contact mat in driver’s seat does not
make contact.
•
Engage hand brake.
•
Set forward/reverse selector to neutral
position.
•
Check contact mat in driver’s seat.
Dirt hopper does not tip
/ lower
•
Key on remote control not in correct
position.
•
Premature tipping after switching off
fan.
•
Extreme overload in dirt hopper.
•
Check remote control and if necessary set
key to correct position (must be depressed
and turned left).

After switching off fan wait 10 seconds
before tipping.

Sweeper does not move
forward / backward

Forward/reverse selector in neutral

Defective brushes switch.

necessary.

Third brush does not

Loose joystick plug connections.
