Configuring new missions
To use your EDGE S-400 or EDGE M-300 module, you must activate a
mission using EDGEVue.

What is a mission?
A mission is a set of configuration options that are used to manage your
module. Mission parameters include:
1.
A name for the module and how often temperature is read
2.
How and when the module should begin tracking data (the startup
mode)
3.
High and low alarm limits
4.
Whether or not data should be pushed to the Cloud
5.
Whether or not to use a password to protect against unwanted
stopping or reprogramming of a mission

New EDGE S-400 modules may be started, only the very first time they are
used, with a 3-second button press. This activates the module and starts
datalogging with the default profile (see
