User

User tab allows you to setup up to 20 users with different permissions. User name can only be

English characters or numbers, maximum length of user name or password is 10 characters.

Users are separated into three classes:

Normal User: permission to browse monitor images, no permission to setup device and
manage users.

Power User: permission to setup device, no permission to manage users

Administrator: authorized to setup device and manage users. The default administrator id
is

admin

, password is

admin

. This id can’t be deleted.

Update

User can update device locally by DVS Client or remotely by internet browser. Device will

automatically restart after update. User can check current version in Update tab.
