Trip settings
If OBD data and PIDs is available, odometer value will be calculated from OBD, if not
–
from
GPS.
Trip window offers user to configure Trip feature. If Trip is enabled configuration of
parameters are enabled.
Start Speed
–
GNSS speed has to be greater than the specified Start Speed in order to
detect Trip Start.
Ignition Off Timeout
–
timeout to wait if ignition was off, to detect Trip stop.
Distance mode
–
user can select odometer distance counting mode - Between Records
(from GPS), Continuous (from GPS) or Continuous (from OBD). Continuous distance counting
–
Trip
distance
is going to be counted continuously (
from Trip start to Trip stop
). This value is
written to I/O Odometer value field. When Trip is over and next Trip begins, Odometer value is
reset to zero. When the next trip starts, device starts to count distance continuously from zero.

User can configure vehicle

real odometer value. This value will be incremented by
odometer functionality. If FM1000 is used in another vehicle, the new value should be entered
and synchronization reset by pressing set button.
