Adding an outgoing external call to an internal conversation
1.
During a call, press the
MENU
button.

Use the

and
q
to select
INT 2NDCALL
. Press
the
MENU
button.

The display shows
CALLING R
. Enter the second number.
4.
When your second caller answers, press the
MENU
button to
open the options menu:
-
CONFERENCE
: Press the
MENU
button to initiate a 3-way
with an external caller and internal caller.
-
SWITCH CALLS
: Press the
MENU
button to switch between
the two callers.
5.
Press the button to hang up.

8.3.1
Registering handsets
1.
Hold down the button on the base station for 3
seconds.
You now have 90 seconds to register the new handset.
2.
Press the
MENU
button on the handset.
3.
Use the
p
and
q
to select
ADVANCED SET
. Press
the
MENU
button.
4.
Use the
p
and
q
buttons to select
REGISTRATION
. Press
the
MENU
button.
5.
If necessary, use the
p
and
q
buttons to display
REGIST.
BASE
. Press the
MENU
button.

BASE 1 2 3 4
appears on the display.
7.
Now use the number buttons to enter the number of the base
station (1-4). If the handset is already registered with a base
station, the corresponding numbers will blink.
8.
When the base is located, you will hear a confirmation beep
and
PIN----
appears on the display.
9.
Now enter the PIN number for the new base station (factory
setting, 0 0 0 0).
10.
Now press the
MENU
button, and you will hear a beep for
a few seconds. The handset is now registered and can be
used for external and internal calls.
11.
An internal number has now been allocated to the handset.
The first handset registered (main handset) has the internal
number 1 allocated to it. The second handset to be logged on
is given the internal number 2. This internal number is shown
on the display to the right hand side of the handset name.
