7.8 Changing your PIN number
A PIN number protects some of the telephone system functions from
unauthorized use. The PIN consists of four digits. The phone is delivered
with the PIN number set to “0000”. To change the PIN number, proceed
as follows:
1. Press the MENU button.
2. Use the
p
and
q
buttons to select ADVANCED SET . Press
the MENU button.
3. Use the
p
and
q
buttons to select PIN. Press the MENU
button. PIN? appears on the display.
4. Now enter the current four digit PIN number using the
number buttons (factory setting, 0 0 0 0 ), then press the
MENU button. NEW? appears on the display.
5. Now enter the desired new four digit PIN number using the
number buttons then press the
MENU button to confirm. You
will now hear a confirmation beep.
6. You can then select further menu functions or exit by pressing
the button.

The display can be set to one of three language options.
