Operation
Operation of the system is done solely from the Receiver. The Receiver must be fully configured to begin
operation of a remote site. Refer to Manual TX001-10, QuickSilver Software for complete software installation
and operation.
Resetting the Transmitter
There are instances where it is necessary to reset the Transmitter for proper operation. In the event that the
Transmitter will not communicate with the Receiver or it is necessary to clear the current setup and password,
use the Reset switch to clear the data. This switch is located on the side near the right-front corner. Use the
switch as follows:
1. Power-off the Transmitter.
2. Using a thin tipped object (pin, screwdriver, pen), press and hold the momentary switch.
3. Power-on the Transmitter. Hold the momentary switch for an additional 5 seconds and release.
When connecting to the Transmitter the next time, a dialog box should request an entry and verification
password when the Setup button is selected. This indicates that the Transmitter has been reset.
