Appendix B: Daily Maintenance and Cleaning
Daily Maintenance
Do not store or leave the instrument in where the display screen will be
exposed to direct sunlight for a long period of time.
CAUTION:
To avoid damage to the instrument, do not expose it to
spray, liquid, or solvent.
Cleaning
If the instrument requires cleaning, disconnect it from all power sources and
clean it with a mild detergent and water. Make sure the instrument is completely
dry before reconnecting it to a power source.
To clean the exterior surface, perform the following steps:
1. Remove loose dust on the outside of the instrument with a lint-free cloth.
When cleaning the touch screen, be careful to avoid scratching the
transparent plastic protective screen.
2. Use a soft cloth dampened with water to clean the instrument.
WARNING:
To avoid any damage to the surface of the instrument,
do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaning agents.
