Overview

Description

The CP030 uses a combination of Hall effect and transformer technology which enables measurements
to be made on DC, AC and impulse currents. It has a 50 MHz bandwidth and is designed to measure
continuous currents up to 30 Amp.

The probe can be used with a WaveSurfer, WaveRunner 6000, or WavePro 7000 series oscilloscope with
firmware 4.3.0.0 or higher. With the ProBus interface, the CP030 becomes an integral part of the
oscilloscope. The bandwidth limit, auto zero and degauss functions are all controlled from the
oscilloscope’s graphical user interface. The oscilloscope provides power to the probe, so no external
power supply is needed.
