USB interface. The length of the cable between the PC and the Transceiver Unit should be not
more than 10 m via the RS-232, and via USB interface not more than 1 m.
The PC (special equipment) connection with the radio for data transmission is defined
in the Appendix A, Tables
А4, А6 where the settings and the “
DATA
” and «
USB-
В
» connector
circuits assignments are presented.
1.1.4.14.3 Radio interconnection with the LAN
The radio can be interconnected with the LAN. The LAN provides the radio control, as
well as data transmission over the Ethernet interface. To provide data transmission and radio
control from the LAN, the LAN should be connected to the
“
ETHERNET
” connector of the
Transceiver Unit. The control and data transmission by means of the LAN is performed from
the PC, connected to the LAN, too. The data transmission program and the radio control
program are to be installed into the PC.
LAN connection with the radio is defined in the Appendix A , Table A1, where the
settings and the
“
ETHERNET
” connector circuit’s assignments are presented.
1.1.4.14.4 Radio interconnection with the data modems with analog output, encoding
equipment
The radio can be interconnected with the data modems with analog output, and the
analog encoding equipment. Data transmission from the external modems and analog
encoding equipment is made over the voice channel in the 300 to 3400 Hz frequency band.
Radio input and output for interconnection with modems are symmetric ungrounded with
impedance of 600 ohm.
The input and output power level for interconnection can be selected between two
gradations, i.e., 520 and
і 770 mV. Thereafter the radio output power level is (520 ± 100) mV or
(770
± 150) mV. The radio provides the selected output power level at the input voltage level
reduction relative to selected gradation of the input voltage not less than 20 dB.
Modems (encoding equipment) connection with the radio for data transmission is
defined in the Appendix A, where the settings and the
“
OUTPUT
” connector, to which the
equipment is to be connected to, circuit assignments, are presented.
1.1.4.14.5 Radio interconnection with the intercom system
The radio can be interconnected with the analog intercom system. Voice transmission
from the analog intercom system is made over the voice channel in the 300 to 3050 Hz
frequency band.
The radio input voltage (from the INTERCOM) should be 520 mV. The radio provides
the selected output power level at the input voltage level reduction not less than 20 dB.
