Faster throughput
The Phaser 540 Plus incorporates several enhancements that provide faster
throughput:

Faster recovery from EnergyStar mode (when the printer has been
idle for more than one hour) saves nearly two minutes in the time
the printer takes to make the first print.
■
The printer’s default print-quality mode is now Fast , saving nearly
40 seconds in the time to first print when Fast mode is selected
from the computer driver.
■
The Phaser 540 Plus delivers approximately a 20% time savings
for Phaser Copystation prints when the printer is configured with
52 Mbytes of memory. This reduction applies to first print;
multiple copies always occur at full printer speed.
