Technical maintenance and repairs can only be carried out on the fan after disconnecting it from the mains and when all
rotating parts have come to a complete standstill.
Technical maintenance includes periodically removing dirt and dust from the surfaces.
The impeller blades must be thoroughly cleaned every 6 months.
To clean the blades:
- Disconnect the fan from the mains;
- Wipe the external surfaces of the fan (see Fig. 6.1);
- Unscrew the screws and remove the upper panel of the fan (see Fig. 6.2 and 7.3);
- Clean the impeller blades using a soft brush or compressed air (see Fig. 6.4).
Do not let liquid come into contact with the electric motor and the electronic components. The blades must be cleaned
carefully without moving the balancing weights of the impeller wheel.
After cleaning, perform all the above operations in reverse order.
