06 WORKING AND USE
The Surgical Suction Unit with trolley in its different versions is suitable for the aspiration of body and extr-
body liquids.
They’ve been conceived for displacements in hospital wards.
The small dimensions make this device versatile, handy and easy to move trough three wheels with pads
and a chromium-plated handle.
With the cable supplied with all the versions it is possible to feed the suction unit with electricity network
230V ~ 50 Hz.
The light on the switch indicates the switching on of the device.
The good working of the device depends on the correct use, maintenance and cleaning.
The improper use causes bad working, damages to the device and to the environment.
The position of work must allow to reach the control panel and to have a good view of the vacuum indicator,
of the pot and filter.
We suggest to place the suction unit on a flat and solid surface in order to have easy movement and
the complete volume of use of the pot and the major efficacy of the non return valve system.
The suction stops when the non return valve system starts to work. Switch off the system and clean
the pot (see page 8).
ADJUSTMENT OF THE SUCTION UNIT WITH 2 L POTS TO 4 L POTS
The versions with 2 pots of 2 l. capacity have two bushes that reduce the dimension of the basic seat (for 4 l.
pot) to receive 2 l. pot that has a smaller diameter.
These bushes are fixed on the seat basis (for 4 l. pot) wit a screw placed in the middle of the bush.

Room temperature 5 – 35 °C
Remove the equipment and make ordinary/extraordinary maintenance in case liquids are
sucked by the pump (Suction Rubber holder pad.12 pos. B) inside the unit.
We recommend a check up in TECNO-GAZ.
The correct use of the device is granted by the correct working of the vacuum meter and by
an effective aspiration.
