Verify the batch freezer dasher
Bef ore st arting production, dismant le and
check t he dasher and all its components.
Cut of f the tension t o t he cont rol console
pressing the “ Start Key” .(Light off )
Open f ront door (

) t urning t he handle (

ant iclockw ise and pull it tow ards you.
Ext ract t he dasher

, holding it by the spokes
and pull it out w ards.
Check t hat t he t urbine is f it ted w it h a packing gland
(

), scraper blades (

) and t urbine cent re pads (

).
If t hese pieces are consigned separat ely in an
envelope (t hey are dismant led f or t ransport at ion),
mount t hem on t he t urbine.
Packing gland (
3
): slide it ont o t he end of t he
dasher, it does not have a specif ic seat ) as show n
in t he diagram. Grease f irst w it h solid Vaseline.
Dasher cent re pads (
5
): t here are t hree of t hese and
t hey must be placed in t he appropriat e slot s, one f or
each dasher spoke.
Scraper blades (
4
): mount t hese as show n in t he
diagram at t he side. The must be f ree t o carry out
t heir spring movement w it hout hindrance.
Check the direction of scraping action

Suggestion:
Af t er each w ashing operat ion and if t he machine remains out of use for any period of t ime,
dismant le the packing gland (
3
) and scraper blades (
4
) leaving the t urbine cent re pads in
place (
5
). Reassemble t he various pieces just before re-st art ing product ion and make sure
t hey are in good condit ion.
