> Copy the “.*pad“ extension fi le on the USB device.
> If you want to conduct a single update you have to also copy the single update fi le on the USB. If you want
to conduct several updates using the USB device copy the auto update fi le instead.
Remember: single update and auto update fi les must not have any extension!
Note!!!
There must not be several PAD
fi les on the USB device. Moreover, “Autoupdate“ and “singleupdate“ fi les
must not be stored on the USB device simultaneously.
> Switch the receiver to standby mode and put the USB device into the USB socket located on the receiver.
Now you may turn the receiver on. After a few seconds you will see the “LoAd” message. Then you will
see “USbL“ with other messages on the screen indicating the status. The update is done if the receiver is
back to normal mode.
If the update via USB does not start repeat all those steps and try another USB device.
Note!!!
The update must not be interrupted by taking the USB device out or by cutting o
ff the power supply
because then the device may not work properly.
