8.2.1.2 Manual recording stop
> Press the Stop button in order to stop recording the current program.
> Using the
up/down arrows select whether you want to save the recording
or remove it. Con fi rm by pressing the OK button.
8.2.1.3 Automatic stop of recording
Option 1
> Press On/Standby.
You will be asked what you want to do with the current recording.
> Using the
up/down arrows select the line with the appropriate action.
> Con fi rm by pressing OK .
The receiver records the programme up to the present time, then it changes to standby mode.
> If the user turns on the receiver before the programme ends, he is asked whether he wants to
play the programme since the beginning, continue in live mode or
fi nish.
> Using the up/down arrows, select an appropriate line and con fi rm by pressing OK .
When choosing Start the recording from the beginning, the recording process continues
in timeshift mode.
Option 2
> After pressing the Record button, another window will appear.
> Now select (using the
up/down arrows) the line which contains the
selected action, e.g. +1 hour and con fi rm by pressing OK .
The receiver plays the programme of the preset channel only within the selected time and
it stops recording automatically.
8.2.2 Recording with timer
Using the DVR timer you are able to record programmes on the recording device
during their transmission. In addition, the receiver is equipped with a
VCR recording timer and channel switching timer. Within the scope of programming, particular
types of timers di
ff er only because of the type of given timer. The timer may be
programmed manually or using the EPG/SFI feature.
8.2.3 Timeshift feature
In case of using the Timeshift function, the user can simultaneously play and
record. Thanks to this, it is possible to watch the television programme with the timeshift function.
It is possible to see the beginning of the recording and skip registered extracts (e.g.
commercials). The live signal is still being recorded at the same time.
Starting the Timeshift function
> Press the Pause/Play button.
Programme playback is paused and the recording of the current programme starts. When starting back-
ground recording, the immovable image is shown together with a hand in the top right corner. An in-
formative banner is also displayed.
> In order to resume programme playback from this point, press the
Pause/Play button again.
