Working as Status Messages Port (Default: GB-A)

The status messages of the Capture Module are transmitted on this port. (for

Working as Control Message Port
:
Incoming control messages for the Capture Module are redirected to the CPU of
the Capture Module (for details have look to
Chapter 6
Incoming control messages for the Capture Module are not redirected to the CPU
of the Capture Module.
Keep Awake Reason Bus
:
This
port is supervised. If on this port is communication, CM_CAN_Combo can’t
go asleep.
This port is not supervised. The Capture Module can fall asleep even there is
communication on this port.
Cascade to
:
None
: no forwarding of incoming traffic
100Base-T1
: forwarding of incoming traffic to 100Base-T1
Note
: in case of forwarding to 100BASE-T1, please be aware: you are forwarding
traffic from a 1Gbit/s-port to 100mbit/s-port.
802.1AS mode
:
Disabled
: there is no synchronisation with other PTP-partners
Bridge Slave
: the connected device on this port must be a bridge master of PTP-
protocol
Bridge Master
: the connected device on this port must be a bridge slave of PTP-
protocol
802.1AS Master
: This port is generating the master clock for the logging system

can be cascaded as well

This is a table which shows all CAN, Flexray and RS232 ports and if the logging-
configuration of each port is linked to this 100BASE-T1-port.
CAN-A: CAN-A sends its logged information to this 100BASE-T1-port
CAN-A: CAN-A does not send its logged information to this 100BASE-T1-port
