Commissioning steps
Install the devices at the TCS system completely and connect the FBO1100 to the tele-
phone system (see wiring example).
Check the a-, b- and P-wire against each other for short-circuits.
Switch on the mains voltage.
The yellow LED (state PBX / PSTN connection) flashes ON, once with a long break
(This corresponds with the TK-Interface (16 dialing register = delivery state).

Indication and operating elements
First check the connection of the FBO1100 to the telephone system with a call to the
telephone number which is assigned to the FBO1100 from the telephone system.
Then, check the connection of the FBO1100 to the front-door station by pressing the
Button 1
as well as the function of the
Buttons 7
and
8
. The connection can be end-
ed by pressing the
Button 9
or by hanging up the handset.
Thus, the system is basically
ready to operate
and can be configured.
If the commissioning check is
not successful
, errors may have occurred.
