7. Adjustments and operations
1. Retighten nuts and bolts after the first day of work. Check the conditions of all
pins and cotter pins. Then, retighten every 24 hours of service.
2. Carefully observe the lubrication intervals.
3. The tires inflation must always be done with the aid of a contention device
(tire inflation cage).
4. The tires inflation is important; always keep the pressure according to the
'tires inflation' page.
5. Choose a gear that allows the tractor to maintain a certain power reserve,
ensuring against unforeseen efforts.
6. Speed is relative to the tractor gear and can only be determined by local
conditions. We adopted an average 5 to 7 km/h, which is not advisable to
overcome, to maintain service efficiency and to avoid possible damages to
the equipment.
7. The jack keeps the hoist in vertical position, facilitating the coupling. The rear
hitch allows the traction of wagons without the need to uncouple the hoists.
8. GATG, GATG-RO and GATG-BR ninety-degree angle allows the operation in
a reduced space, inside orchards. Do not exceed the turning angle.
9. When in operation, do not allow any people to be in the hoist turning range.
10. When transporting the GATG-RO or GATG-BR hoists, it is necessary to lock
the oscillating wheels in order to avoid damages to the equipment.
11. During working or transportation, the presence of passengers on the tractor
or equipment is not allowed.
12. To carry out any verification on the equipment, shut down the tractor engine.
