Setting up the network (LAN)
You need to set up a network if you want to be able to access the Internet
from the NetTop PC or integrate the NetTop PC in a network.
1. In the Windows status bar, click on the [Start] button and then [Control
Panel].
2. Select the category “Network and Internet Connections”.
3. Select the task “Set up or change your home or small office network“.
The “Network Setup Wizard” will start up.
4. Follow the instructions of the Wizard.
Setting up a wireless network (WLAN)
If you want to integrate the NetTop PC in a wireless network, proceed as
follows:
1. Plug the USB WLAN stick included in the delivery (see page 33) into a
free USB connection (see page 34, item B).
Since the device driver for the stick was already installed by the manufac-
turer, the WLAN stick is detected automatically.
2. In the Windows status bar, click on the [Start] button and then [Control
Panel].
3. Select the category “Network and Internet Connections”.
4. Select the task “Set up a wireless network for a home or small office”.
The “Wireless Network Setup Wizard” will start up.
5. Follow the instructions of the Wizard.
