5.1.1 Change User
Press the User key, then by using the scroll keys you can select between
CHANGE USER, CHANGE PASSWORD or USER SETTINGS. Select ENTER
(F2) to enter the option. CLOSE (F1) to exit.
When the “Change User” function is selected, you can use the scroll keys to
select the supervisor or operator number you require, then enter the password
that was previously entered in for that operator or supervisor. Press OK (F1) to
accept.
Once logged in as a user, you can change that users password or load or save a
machine configuration for that user. This is done by pressing the USER key again
and scrolling to the required option
Note: If the supervisor forgets their password, it will have to be reset by a service
technician.
5.1.2 Change Password
A different password can be given to each user, which can be from 0 - 7 digits in
length. The supervisor can reset the password for any of the operators.
When this option is selected the user is prompted to enter a new password. The
new password must be entered twice to confirm the new password is correct.
5.1.3 User Setting
Each user may save their own default setting that are applied when the user logs
on. These setting include the preferred process, batch sizes, system configuration
and detector settings.
To save a user settings, configure the Nvision as required, then enter the User
Settings function and press Save (F4)
A quick way to restore the counter to the users default setting is to enter the user
settings option and select LOAD (F2). This will restore the Nvision to the last
saved user’s configuration
NOTE: It is important to save the user settings after making any changes to the
users default settings.
