4.4 Process Selection (Face)
It may be the case that the notes you have received were not faced and
orientated. You can use the machine to make sure that the faces of the notes are
the same way up. Turn off BRF to use this process.
To face the notes, press the Face key on the control panel. (To turn facing off,
press the Face key again.) The following display screen will be shown:
When the machine is set to AUTO (1st note fed), it will recognize the first note
through the machine and will expect all the others to be of the same face.
Anything different will go to stacker pocket 2.
If you wish to select a specific face, or turn the 1st note fed off, you will have to
hold the Face key down for about 2 seconds.
The display will now show FACE - AUTO (1st FED), ANY, BACK, FACE. By using
the scroll keys, you can select any of the other options:
Once you have selected the face that you require, press OK (F1) to return to the
count display.
