4.9 Process Selection (BRF)

- Banknote Recycling Framework
It may be the case that the notes you have received are all mixed or of single
denomination. You may wish to value balance or count them using the BRF
(Banknote Recycling Framework) settings. These detector settings are
embedded within the machine and cannot be altered. You can use the machine to
carry out this BRF process.
To BRF value balance or count the notes press the BRF key on the control panel.
The following display will be shown:
As you can see in the above picture, the BRF, Currency, Authentication and
Fitness icons are all switched on and are shown at the top of the display.
Make sure these icons are on if you wish to comply with the BRF process.
Note: If you de-select the BRF process, all authentication and fitness sensitivity
setting will remain at the BRF level.
Note: Once in the BRF process, no other processes can be selected.
Stacker pocket 1: Will contain all genuine and fit banknotes.
Stacker pocket 2: Will contain unfit genuine notes, suspect counterfeit notes and
unrecognised banknotes.
