Programmable Buttons

Your phone is equipped with four programmable buttons, each with a green LED indicator. An optional TEM expansion
module may be attached to the phone and offers 44 additional programmable buttons with LED indicators.
The programmable buttons may include dial numbers (stations, groups, trunks, trunk groups, etc.), phone features (Do
Not Disturb, Phone Lock, Auto Answer, Call Blocking, etc.) - as offered in the phone’s configuration options, or Coral
features using Coral feature codes.
The four programmable buttons located on the phone may be programmed either via the phone’s configuration menu
option or via the phone Web pages (see
Programmable Button 1-4 on page 59 ). The programmable buttons located on
the TEM can be configured via the phone’s TEM configuration menu option or via the phone Web page, (see TEM
Settings on page 70 ).

Notes: 1) For Coral features, you must program one button with the Coral feature defined with the activation code 9 ,
and another button with the Coral feature with the cancellation code

. Neither button lights, however, when
the feature is in active mode, as in T207S, T208S, T207S/NP or T208S/BL phones (DSS).
2) The programmable buttons light for internal destination numbers when the destination is busy (BLF).
TEM
The TEM consists of two rows of 11 programmable buttons, which can be doubled by using the Shift Left key or Shift
Right key. For example, the top right button may include content A while the same button, when the
Shift Right key is
lit, may contain content B. The same follows for the left side column buttons when the Shift Left key is lit (see figure
below ).
Button Labeling
To facilitate button programming and labeling, you can print out the form on page 162 . Use the form to manually enter
the corresponding TEM button names.
