digiDL - Installation
The VDO programmer settings as we know them are; Programming – TCO Parameters – CANBus –
Remote Download (ON) and TCO Parameters – CANBus – CAN2 (ON) . This work although not
classed as a full calibration will need to be done with a Workshop card installed.
SRE DDS and VDO Counter
Please note that whilst Digital Tachograph have been around since 2006 more comprehensive real
time data provided by the Tachograph was not available until around 2012.
Tachosys also manufacture a range of Bluetooth devices to which the digifobpro can connect to
provide a Wireless solution. Please have a look at our digiDL-EX and digiblu products at

VDO Counter Compatability
The table below shows which versions support full Counter functionality and whether updates or
activation cards may be required.
* Upgrade of the release is possible via workshop
** Must be activated with an Update Card
*** Can only be activated via the workshop
The VDO Counter Update Card comes in two types Single or Multi Use.

Stoneridge DDS Compatibility
There are currently two models that support DDS, the Exakt Duo and Exakt Duo². These models are
software revision R7.4 and R7.5 respectively.
