The six (6) pins of the Programming Header are labeled on the main PCB
using the standard Microchip In-Circuit protocol.
Antenna and Ground Connections:
1.
The Shortwave Daddy has two (2) connectors for the use of a variety of antennas
along with a two (2) pin male Ground Header for the connection of an external
ground .
(Antennas are not included.)
2.
The BNC female connector on the main PCB allows the user to connect an outside
aerial that has a standard male BNC connector. In addition, many different types
of telescoping antennas can be connected to the BNC connector (Figure 29)

The 3.5mm antenna jack allows the user to connect a standard set of ear buds as
an antenna. (Figure 30)
Note: The 3.5mm antenna jack is not a
headphone jack, but rather only serves as an antenna connector.
4.
The user can also connect an long-wire antenna with 3.5mm male connector to
the 3.5mm antenna jack.
