14 Troubleshooting
Should problems arise with the telephone, refer to the following information.
In the case of claims under the terms of guarantee, contact your sales outlet.
Faults Corrective measures
No connection to base station
possible - Check that the handset has been registered on the
base station with the correct PIN code.
No telephone calls possible - The telephone line is not connected properly or is
defective. Only use the telephone connection cable
supplied.
- Test whether the telephone connection is in order
by using another telephone.
- The power adaptor plug is not plugged in or there is
a complete power failure.
- The rechargeable standard batteries are empty or
defective.
- The handset is too far from the base station.
- A call is already being made with another handset.
- If the base station is connected within a private
branch exchange, a specific number must be dial-
led to obtain a dialling tone for an outside line.
No settings can be made on
the base station - The handset is too far from the base station.
- The power adaptor plug is not plugged in or there is
a complete power failure.
- Check that the handset has been registered on the
base station with the correct PIN code.
The date and time have
changed - The power adaptor plug is not plugged in or there
has been a complete power failure.
Connection is disturbed or
cut off - The handset is too far from the base station.
- The base station is in an unsuitable location.
