9.6.1 Ringing melodies for internal and external calls
1. Press the Menu button

and use the

)
button to select the
HANDSET
menu. Confirm by pressing the
"
button.
2. Select the
INT MELODY
menu for internal calls or
EXT MELODY
for external calls
and confirm with the
"
button.
3. Select the ringing melody required. There are 8 different melodies available for
selection.
Note: The different melodies are played back during the selection process.
4. Confirm the one required by pressing the " button. The handset rings with the
corresponding melody on receiving internal or external calls.
9.6.2 Handset volume
The volume can be set to one of five different levels or switched off completely.
VOLUME: 1
is the lowest volume which can be set and
VOLUME: 5
the highest. If
ASCENDING
is set, the
volume increases with each ring.
1. Press the Menu button

2. Select the
RING VOL
menu and confirm by pressing the

button.
3. Select the required volume, the
ASCENDING
function or switch off the ringing
function.

9.7 Key tone and acoustic warning signals for battery and range
An acoustic signal is issued each time a button on the handset is pressed. This key tone
can be switched on or off. The warning signals issued in the case of low battery charge or
poor connection between the handset and base station can also be switched on or off.
1. Press the Menu button " and use the ( or ) button to select the
HANDSET
menu. Confirm by pressing the " button.
2. Select the
TONES
menu and confirm with the
"
button.
3. Select the
KEYTONE
,
LOW BATT
or
RANGE
menu and confirm with the
"
button.
4. Select one of the settings,
ON
or
OFF
.
5. Confirm by pressing the
