ATTENTION

Amperometric systems such as the AMI Trides do not measure
properly if the sample contains even traces of the following
products:
Š

Disinfectants containing stabilisers like cyanuric acid or

5.5-Dimethyldantoin,

Organic chlorine compounds,

Corrosion inhibitors (phosphates),

Detergents used for cleaning purposes,

Traces of brass or copper from sample supply tubes

and connectors.

These substances contaminate sensors, leading to low
readings and hence resulting in chlorine over-dosage.

ATTENTION

Make sure the reference electrode never dries out!

Always ensure that there is sample flow before switching

on the instrument.
