6 - Maintenance - Repair

Cleaning

6.3.6 Trides sensor,
rotor

Lime deposit causes the rotor to slow down, and fungal growth
to stop, eventually setting off the flow alarm.

Remove Trides sensor, see

6.4.4,

Remove the rotor.

Clean the two orifices with a pipe cleaner or toothpick.

Clean the rotor with a pipe cleaner. Wipe the platinum parts
and the area which is in contact with water with a soft tissue.
Remove calcareous deposits with 5% hydrochloric acid.

If the sensor is contaminated, clean it for approx. 5 min.
in 1:5 diluted hydrochloric acid. Find the contamination
source.

Rinse all parts thoroughly.

Reinstall the sensor, connect sensor cable.

Open the sample supply.

When the rotor is turning, connect the instrument to the
power.

ATTENTION

Cleaning causes the zero point to be too high. Observe
