D.4 AMS Multisector Switch Antennas
D.4.1 Introduction
The AMS-206 and the AMS-406 are multisector antennas, which have been
developed by SVP Broadcast Microwave. These are a very compact, robust
and easy-to-install solution for applications where hemispherical coverage
with high gain is needed.
The AMS-206 and the AMS-406 antennas are formed of 5 sector panel
antennas to offer an omnidirectional coverage. They also have an up
antenna which allows hemispherical coverage.
These antennas integrate the PIN diode switch. They have an N-female
connector and a control connector which is controlled by the HDR-106
receiver with the autotracking option. At the N connector output they offer
the RF signal.
These antennas have been designed to be used as transmitter and as
receiver in a wide variety of applications.
