3 (The ABS indicator light does not light up)
1) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2) Remove the front seat. Refer to “Exterior Parts Removal
and Installation in Section 9D in related manual”.
3) Open the fuse box and inspect the signal fuse (1).
CAUTION
!
If a fuse is blown, find the cause of the problem
and correct it before replacing the fuse.

Is the ignition fuse OK?
Go to Step 4. Replace the ignition
fuse.
4 1) Disconnect the ABS control unit coupler. Refer to “ABS
Control Unit Coupler Disconnect and Connect
(GSX1300BKAK8) (Page 4E-9)”.
2) Turn the ignition switch ON with the ABS control unit
coupler disconnected, measure the voltage between
“12” (Bl) and “4” (B/W) at the coupler.
Special tool
(A): 09900–25008 (Multi-circuit tester set)
(B): 09900–25009 (Needle pointed probe set)

Normal value (“12” – “4”)
7.5 – 9.5 V
ABS control unit coupler (Harness end)
Is the voltage between “12” and “4” normal?
Go to Step 5. • Inspect the wire
harness. (Faulty
ignition or ground
wire)
• Faulty ABS indicator
light.
