3-31 ENGINE

• Apply engine oil to the rocker arm shafts and rocker arms.

Install the intake rocker arm shaft

and exhaust rocker arm

shaft

NOTE:
* Face the thread part of the rocker arm shafts to the outside.

• Install the gasket

and cylinder head right cover

to the

cylinder head.

• Tighten the cylinder head right cover bolts

securely.

INTAKE PIPE

• Install the intake pipe O-ring

• Apply SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A” to the intake pipe O-ring

99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A”

or equivalent

• Tighten the intake pipe nuts

to the specified torque.

Intake pipe nut: 5.5 N·m (0.55 kgf-m, 4.0 lb-ft)

The removed gasket must be replaced with a new one.

The removed O-ring must be replaced with a new one.
