4-3 FUEL SYSTEM
REMOVAL

• Remove the seat and fuel tank side covers. (
5-3)
• Turn the fuel valve to the “OFF” position.
• Disconnect the fuel hose

from the fuel valve.
• Remove the fuel tank

• Remove the fuel tank cap

and fuel tank upper cover

• Remove the fuel valve

FUEL FILTER INSPECTION AND CLEANING
If the fuel filter is dirty with sediment or rust, fuel will not flow
smoothly and loss in engine power may result.
Clean the fuel filter with compressed air and check the fuel filter
for cracks.
* Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.
* Keep heat, spark and flame away.
