3-100 ENGINE

• Fit a new gasket



• Install the cam chain tension adjuster.



Cam chain tension adjuster mounting bolt:

10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 lb-ft)

• Turn the crankshaft approx. 180° counterclockwise to make

the push rod come out from the adjuster against the cam
chain, via chain tensioner.

NOTE:
When slight pushing force is applied to the push rod head, the
push rod is automatically out from the adjuster body.



• Turn the crankshaft clockwise and recheck the cam position.

Use a new gasket to prevent oil leakage.
