ATAPI or IDE Removable if a removable disk drive is installed.

CHS Format

The following items will be displayed by the BIOS:

TYPE:

This item displays the type of a SATA drive.

Cylinders:

This item indicates the number of cylinders detected by the

BIOS.

Headers:

This item indicates the number of headers.

Sectors:

This item displays the number of sectors.

Maximum Capacity:

This item displays the maximum storage capacity in the

CHS Format.

LBA Format

The following items will be displayed by the BIOS:

Total Sectors:

This item displays the number of total sectors available in the

LBA Format.

Maximum Capacity:

This item displays the maximum capacity in the LBA

Format.

Multi-Sector Transfers

This item allows the user to specify the number of sectors per block to be

used in multi-sector transfer. The options are Disabled, 2 Sectors, 4 Sectors,

8 Sectors, and

16 Sectors.

LBA Mode Control

This item determines whether the Phoenix BIOS will access a SATA device via

the LBA mode. The options are

Enabled

and Disabled.

32 Bit I/O

This option allows the user to enable or disable the function of 32-bit data

transfer. The options are Enabled and

Disabled

Transfer Mode

This option allows the user to set the transfer mode. The options are Standard, Fast

PIO1, Fast PIO2, Fast PIO3, Fast PIO4, FPIO3/DMA1 and

FPIO4/DMA2

Ultra DMA Mode

This option allows the user to conﬁ gure the Ultra DMA Mode setting. The options

are Disabled, Mode 0, Mode 1, Mode 2, Mode 3, Mode 4, and

Mode 5
