Chapter 2: Chassis Description and Installation Instructions
H. Access to the Interior between the Back Panel and the Mid-
Plane
For easy access to the interior between the Back Panel and the Mid-plane,
please follow the instructions below before installing components or cables
into this area.
Procedures
1. Remove the two screws as shown in the picture below.
2. Remove the three screws on the bottom of the bracket between the Back
Panel and the Mid-plane.
3. Use a screw driver to gently press the release tabs to unlock the Mid-plane.
4. Pull the Mid-plane forward (about 35
0
) as shown in the picture; then, you will
be able to easily access the interior between the Back Panel and the Mid-
plane.
