PEG Port Configuration
PEG Port 0:1:0
Enable Root Port
Use this feature to enable or disable the PCI Express Graphics (PEG) device in the port
specified by the user. The options are Disable, Enable, and
Auto
.
Max Link Speed
Use this feature to select PCI-E support for the device installed on the specified port. The
options are
Auto
, Gen 1, Gen 2, and Gen 3.
Max Link Width
Use this feature to select the link width. The options are
Auto
, Force X1, Force X2, Force
X4, and Force X8.
ASPM
Use this item to set the Active State Power Management (ASPM) level for a PCI-E device.
Select Auto for the system BIOS to automatically set the ASPM level based on the system
configuration. Select Disabled to disable ASPM support. The options are Disabled,
Auto,
ASPM L0s, ASPM L1, and ASPM L0s & L1.
De-emphasis Control
Use this feature to configure the De-emphasis control on PEG. The options are -6dB and
-3.5dB
.
PEG0 Slot Power Limit Value
Use this feature to set the upper limit value for the power suppled to a PCI-E device specified
by to user. The value should be between 0-255. The default value is
75
.
PEG0 Slot Power Limit Scale
Use this feature to set the scale used for calculating the power limit value for a PCI-E device
specified by to user. The options are
1.0x
, 0.1x, 0.01x, and 0.001x.
PEG0 Physical Slot Number
Use this feature to set the slot number for this port. Enter a value to set the port.
Program PCIe ASPM after OPROM
PCIe ASPM, the Active State Power Management for PCI-Express slots, is a power
management protocol used to manage power consumption of serial-link devices installed on
PCI-Exp slots during a prolonged off-peak time. If this item is set to Enabled, PCI-E ASMP
will be programmed after OPROM. If this item is set to Disabled, the PCI-E ASPM will be
programmed before OPROM. The options are
Disabled
and Enabled.
