    minimum tailpipe length must be increased by 50%  

2) If using Common Tailpipe refer to the following to determine  

      the Minimum Common Tailpipe length required: 

  

1 - Add up usual recommended lengths of Tailpipe (from data in this Table) 

  

2 - Subtract the length of any Tailpipe which will NOT be Common 

  

3 - If result is > 40' remaining, multiply by 0.6 for Minimum Common Tailpipe 
Length 

           OR 3 - If result is ≤ 40' remaining, multiply by 0.75 for Minimum Common Tailpipe Length
