Daily Cleaning:
Always unplug the coffeemaker and allow to cool before cleaning. 
Remove the filter basket, decanter and decanter lid and wash them in a solution of hot 
water and mild liquid soap. 
Never use abrasive cleansers, steel wool pads or other abrasive materials. Dishwasher 
top rack safe parts: glass decanter and lid and filter basket. 

 CAUTION! Never immerse the coffeemaker itself in water, 
in any other liquid or place in the dishwasher.

Regular Cleaning and Maintenance:
Decalcifying your Sunbeam

®

 Coffeemaker

Minerals (calcium) found in water will leave deposits in your coffeemaker and will affect 
it. It’s recommended that you regularly remove these deposits by using Sunbeam

®

 Cleaner 

or vinegar. Sunbeam

®

 Cleaner is available at many retail stores.

1.   

Follow package instructions to prepare one batch of Sunbeam

®

 Coffeemaker Cleaner. 

Pour the mixture into the water reservoir.     

NOTE: 4 cups or 20 fl. oz. of undiluted, white household vinegar may be used as a substitute

for the cleaner.
2.   

Place an empty 10-12 cup basket-style paper filter into the filter basket and close lid.

3.   Place the empty decanter back in the unit, centered on the warming plate.
4.   Brew three cups of cleaning solution through the coffeemaker.
5.   Turn the coffeemaker off and let stand for 30 minutes.
6.   Run the remainder of the cleaning solution through the coffeemaker.
7.   Discard the cleaning solution and rinse the decanter thoroughly with clean water.
8.   Fill the water reservoir with clean, fresh water.
9.   Place the empty decanter back on the coffeemaker, centered on the warming plate.
10.  Remove and discard the paper filter used during the cleaning cycle.
11.  Begin brewing and allow the full brew cycle to complete.
12.  Repeat Steps 8 through 11 one more time.
Your coffeemaker is now clean and ready to brew the next pot of delicious, hot coffee!

Nettoyage quotidien

Débranchez toujours la cafetière et laissez-la refroidir avant de la nettoyer. Retirez le 

porte-filtre, le filtre permanent (n’est pas fourni avec tous les modèles), la verseuse et son 

couvercle puis lavez-les à l’eau chaude additionnée d’un détergent liquide doux. 

N’employez jamais de produits abrasifs (poudre, tampons d’acier, ou autres).  

La verseuse en verre et son couvercle ainsi que le porte-filtre sont lavables dans le panier 

supérieur du lave-vaisselle.  

  

    ATTENTION

! N’immergez jamais la cafetière même, quel que soit le liquide,    

  et ne la mettez jamais au lave-vaisselle.

Détartrage et entretien périodique

Détartrage de la cafetière Sunbeam

Les minéraux (calcaire) en suspension dans l’eau du robinet se déposent dans la cafetière et 

peuvent affecter son fonctionnement à la longue. Nous conseillons de détartrer régulière-

ment la cafetière au détartrant Sunbeam

 ou au vinaigre blanc. Beaucoup de magasins 

vendent le détartrant Sunbeam

.

1.   

Observez les instruction de l’emballage pour préparer une solution de détartrage avec 

le détartrant Sunbeam

MD

 pour cafetières. Versez la solution dans le réservoir.  

REMARQUE

: Vous pouvez utiliser 4 tasses / 20 oz US ou 600 mL de vinaigre blanc de mé

-

nage non dilué au lieu du produit de détartrage. 

2.   

Mettez un filtre papier circulaire vide, de format 10 à 12 tasses, dans le porte-filtre 

puis fermez le couvercle.

3.  

Posez alors la verseuse vide – parfaitement centrée – sur la plaque chauffante.

4.  

Laissez filtrer 3 tasses/425 mL de la solution de détartrage.

5.  

Éteignez la cafetière et laissez-la reposer pendant 30 minutes.

6.  

Faites filtrer le reste de la solution.

7.  

Jetez la

 solution

 puis

 rincez

 la

 verseuse

 à 

fond, à

 l’eau

 claire.

8.  

Remplissez le réservoir d’eau fraîche propre.

9.  

Posez alors la verseuse vide – parfaitement centrée – sur la plaque chauffante.

10.   Retirez le filtre papier utilisé durant le cycle de détartrage et jetez-le. 

11. 

Mettez la cafetière en marche et faites-lui subir un cycle complet.

12. 

Répétez les instructions de 8 à 11 une fois de plus.

Votre cafetière est maintenant détartrée et prête à faire un nouveau pot de délicieux café 

aromatique et bien chaud!

Appuyez sur la touche d’arrêt (OFF). Le voyant 

lumineux vert d’INFUSION DIFFÉRÉE s’éteindra.
